Giant Leap Coffee

Stopped by for afternoon coffee and got a drip coffee. Barista was nice and knowledgeable. A couple chairs inside (small place) and outdoor seating. I may have seen the pacaged coffee (forgot the brand name) on display at a different coffee shop before. Coffee was very good. Nice spot.

This is the most delicious, vibrant, and perfectly made espresso I’ve had in America. It’s very rare to find such a proper and tasty espresso. These guys are simply incredible. The service is excellent, the coffee is amazing, and the place is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Lovely spot for coffee with chill outdoor seating for a lovely me time corner or just simply chill with a friend or two. Had been one of my favorite coffee sport for years, and the second I moved back I went for a visit, same old welcoming atmosphere. Loving it

Really loved this coffee shop! The seating is very minimal and difficult if you are coming here to work. But the coffee is so good!! The staff is very nice and helpful. They have unique options with homemade syrups, and the coffee is very balanced and not too sweet. Plus they give you cute cups if you are staying to hangout! Definitely recommend

Absolutely love it here! This is my go-to coffee spot in the galleria area, and in Houston in general since it's NASA/space themed. This cafe will have all your espresso and coffee classics and needs, on top of that, they'll also have a rotating seasonal menu that features creative house made syrups and flavors that you'll be excited to try. The pastries are fresh every day, and they also have breakfast tacos if you need something heartier. The service is friendly and fast, their communication is top notch, so you'll never lose your drink, even in the morning or lunch time rush when the cafe gets crowded. If you ever want to come in and nerd out over coffee, their staff will help answer any questions and show you what beans they have available for purchase as well. The cafe itself is well taken care of, always clean and well lit. It feels light and open as they have many windows to let in a lot of natural light. The structure is made out of a shipping container so it is a bit narrow on the inside, but perfect for any confusion there may be about the line and traffic flow. The cafe has a lovely covered patio area and seating area with just benches right outside the front door. Definitely stop by if you're on your way to the galleria, or walking through uptown Park. The other cafes in the area are all chains, way less interesting, and way harder to access, especially if they're in the mall.

Giant Leap Coffee is a fantastic spot for anyone who appreciates truly well-crafted coffee. The quality and care in each cup is evident—rich, smooth, and expertly brewed. I tried one of their specialty drinks and was blown away by the balance of flavors. The real surprise, though, was the pastry I ordered—it was filled with creamy custard and topped with fresh berries. Absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Perfect pairing with the coffee. The shop is located in an upscale, beautifully designed area that adds to the overall experience. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to sit down, relax, and stay a while. Clean, modern, and visually impressive without feeling stuffy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a top-tier coffee spot in a great part of town.

Leap, hop, skip, jump, walk, bike, skate, scoot, or just drive on over to Giant Leap for the best coffee in Houston. I’ve been coming here for years. The best espresso roast and flat white I’ve ever had which makes them the best Coffee shop in Houston and in the country in my opinion. I’ve not found anyone to beat the espresso taste. Check out these details: Roaster: Amaya Coffee - The best mid scale roaster in the country (my opinion) Roast: Light Medium Notes: Toffee; Buttery and Toasty notes with a hint of smoke (Absolutely divine) Quality: Fresh tasting with a moderate amount of crema. No bitterness or acidity which means no aftertaste. I recommend and love their Bergamot Lavender Oat milk flat white. Note: because of their delicious medium roast, I recommend a flat white or a latte with an extra shot of espresso. You got to order it this way or you might not like it cause the espresso can get lost in the milk on the latte.
